ELKHORN RESORT TO CLOSE TEMPORARILY
Since the onset of the Covid 19 outbreak, we have been closely monitoring the situation and adjusting our response based upon information provided by the government and health authorities, while also making sure we provide the best service and ensuring the safety of our guests and staff.
We were hoping to keep open as long as possible, despite the very low occupancy, to help support our staff who are needing to work. But now, we have made the very difficult decision to gradually shut down the resort. We will offer take out only for this Friday and Saturday between the hours of 12 and 7. Please call ahead, 204 848-2802 to place an order. On Sunday the restaurant as well as the entire main building will be temporarily closed.
We will continue to operate some of our chalets for our NCC owners and chalet guests but new check-in procedures will be in place. You will be met outside in the parking lot to receive your keys to minimize contact. We will contact you prior to your arrival to arrange your check in.
Our team will be contacting all guests affected by the closure and refunds will be processed for guests. We know that this will cause some inconveniences and in some cases hardships, but we will strive to assist everyone affected as best we can. We ask for your patience as we expect a high volume of call and emails over the coming days. We will make every effort to respond to inquiries as quickly as possible.
Updates will continue to be shared on our website and social media. And while we all learn how to navigate through this unfortunate situation, a gentle reminder to always please be kind to one another.
