  • Go GolfingFormerly known as the Wasagaming Golf Course, the Clear Lake Golf Course is one of the most challenging and picturesque golf courses in Manitoba. Located on the eastern end of Clear Lake and only a five minute drive from the Elkhorn Resort, the course takes you on a 6,070 yard golf adventure that winds through the hills and streams of Riding Mountain National Park. The first nine holes of the Clear Lake Golf Course were designed by renowned golf architect Stanley Thompson. Thompson, famous for creating golf courses which accentuate the beauty of the natural surroundings, designed the courses at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. If you aren’t a golfer, be sure to visit the Clear Lake Clubhouse for a magnificent meal while looking out onto beautiful Clear Lake.

  • Go Hiking – Hike one of the 40 trails of Riding Mountain National (RMNP), which provide you with breathtaking views of our Manitoba Escarpment, Hardwood Forest, and Northern or Boreal Forest. Trail maps are available at the Front Desk and at the Visitor’s Centre in Wasagaming.

  • Visit the Beach – have fun in Clear Lake with a variety of activities such as swimming, sandcastle building, wind surfing, water sports, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, fishing, and even scuba diving.

  • Visit the Clear Lake Marina – Located on the pier of the Main Beach, visit the marina to rent a paddle boat, ski-boat, fishing boat, pontoon boat, or take a scenic afternoon, dinner, or sunset boat cruise on the luxurious Martese.

  • Play Tennis – Play tennis by the beach or take lessons from a pro at the Clear Lake Tennis Club – offering tennis for members and non-members all day long on 6 beautifully maintained outdoor tennis courts

  • Adventure Mini Golf – play 18-themed holes of Riding Mountain National Park Adventure Mini Golf – perfect for all ages – visit the Tennis Shop to play.

  • Lawn Bowling – visit “The Greens” located seven blocks North East towards Deep Bay on Tawapit or Wasagaming Dr.

  • Go geocaching with GPS Adventures and the Friends of RMNP.

  • Park Theatre – The largest log cabin theatre in North America, located in the town site of Wasagaming, is the place for entertainment, showing up to date movies and completing the experience with a full concession.

  • Stop by the Visitor’s Centre – Located in the heart of the townsite of Wasagaming the Visitor’s Centre can provide you with all the information you need about the National Park and guided outdoor adventures for all ages (including Campfire programs, Puppet Shows, animal caravans, and more). While visiting watch an educational video in their log theatre, learn about our animal neighbors in the Discovery Room, and pick up a souvenir in the Nature Shop. Plus, don’t forget to take a walk through their organically managed English Gardens.

  • Wildlife Viewing

    • Bison – view Manitoba’s Provincial Symbol at the bison enclosure located near Lake Audy

    • Keep an eye out during your visit for moose, deer, coyotes, foxes, bears, cougars, and elk.

  • Visit the gift shops and restaurants of Clear Lake as you stroll around the historic town site

  • Go Slug and Bug hunting on the Omminik Marsh Walk
