Cross-country Skiing and Snowshoeing – There is over 75 km of ski trails tracked and packed for skiers to enjoy, including both classic and skate skiing. Updates on both skiing and snowshoeing is available on the friends website (www.friendsofridingmountain.ca) during the winter months

Ice Fishing – Winter or ice fishing is allowed on Clear Lake for most of the winter. A national park fishing license is required, and may be picked up in Wasagaming or in surrounding towns. Information on locations for purchasing fishing licenses, fees and limits are available by calling: 1-800-727-8480 or 204-848-7275 or by visiting the Visitor Centre.

Downhill Skiing – Spend a day downhill skiing, in Minnedosa (a 30-minute drive from the Resort) or at the Asessippi Ski Area in Russell, MB, (an hour drive from the Resort).

Snowmobiling – Our Manitoba winters continually offer amazing snow conditions, making us a snowmobiler’s paradise. Parking spaces are available for snow mobile trailers next to the resort.

Wildlife Viewing

• Bison – view Manitoba’s Provincial Symbol at the bison enclosure located near Lake Audy

• Keep an eye out during your visit for moose, deer, coyotes, foxes, cougars, and elk.
